I had high hopes that this product would serve my simple needs. It did not.
The amazon.com description stated 5/8" thick... they were actually 1/2" thick.
When I contacted Trademark Tools support to return the materials, I got the run-around, and no help.
Do not buy this product from Trademark... they were tools!

My son was so excited to get this...he had been asking for it forever. When he opened the package he was so excited. Then it was such a let down. The glow does not stay on the paper thing. It barely glows at all. :( Don't buy this product.

I bought this for my 6 year old son and he was excited to receive it. The novelty wore off quickly when the pen's light was faint and didn't last long, making designs difficult. The paper sticks to the wall okay but is difficult to store afterward. It's already in the trash. The kids haven't asked for it once.

This is only my 2nd review. I'm so happy with this Grip, I just had to share my experience with others.

I have a medical problem that makes it easy for me to lose my balance. I have been afraid I'd fall in the shower; especially since I'm alone a lot. I got this item and it has made a world of difference. I now have something to hold on to so I can steady myself. I'm so satisfied with it, I'm ordering 3 more. (One each for my handicapped sister, elderly mother and mother-in-law.)

I put it on my shower wall (ceramic tile,) flipped down the tabs and it was on GOOD. I had my husband pull on it and it held firm. It's been over a week and it's still stuck as tightly as ever. I know some of these suction grips lose their grip after a short period of time. But the suction cups on this really do suck!

I am an occupational therapist who does home health with geriatric patients. I am constantly searching for certain adaptive equipment to make my patients' bathrooms safer. As unfortunate as it is, many people are unwilling to give up aesthetics for safety! That means they won't install real grab bars into their tiled showers because it will mess up their tile.

That's where this product comes in handy. I looked at several different brands before purchasing this one for my patients. I have since tried it on many different surfaces and it works with varying results depending on where you position it.

I've tried it on walls - it sticks...for about 1/2 hour. Don't do it. You'll end up hurting yourself! Even if your wall isn't textured it will come off.

If you're using it as a handle on the edge of your bathtub to get in/out, it'll work great! That sucker will not come off no matter how hard you tug on it. Plus, it's not high enough to catch your legs when you're trying to get your legs over the edge (thinking more of geriatric patients who have hip and knee range of motion problems).

In the actual shower area, your results again are varied. Your best bet is a shower that has a smooth surface, like laminate or faux tile. However, I've had fairly good results with tiled showers too. Just make sure that at least one of the suction cups is exclusively over a tiled area and not a grout area. Sometimes the grout lines don't provide the surface area that the cup needs to get a tight suction.

So the long and short of it is make sure you are putting this on a surface that can get a good seal. Let the grab bar sit un-used for about 4-5 hours. If it would fall off, it will on its own during this time. After that, if it's still on, you're probably good to go. But I'd tug on it a few times to make sure.

The first time I bought it, I did a few test runs on surfaces in my own home. I decided that I'd hold onto the box and all packaging and not hesitate to return it if it didn't work out. So far I've placed 4 of them in patients' homes and that says a lot because I'm the one on the line if they don't work out.

I purchased two of these books and I am stunned at the poor quality of the editing; in twenty minutes I found forty typos and incomplete sentences that had a direct impact on the success of the 'hints' offered.
Some hints if they may be called that were quite ridiculous and are copies of others that have come before or are in pamphlets that routinely come with product. And yet Dr. Myles H. Bader thinks he can have a copyright on these 'secrets' when he obviously accessed them from other sources himself. He surely could not think that anyone would want to copy his questionable grammar and deplorable spelling.

I am forced to rate this book with a single star in order to leave a review-- it is not worth even a single star.

Sign me Crabby!

The price of $49.49 for this book is extremaly to high. People who paid almost $50 for this book should have done research before buying it.
The QVC channel is selling this book for less than $18.00 (still to much $$$) but I decide to buy one anyhow. BIG MISTAKE!!

Sorry Grandpa and Dr. Bad-er, this book is very BAAAD! Not a good purchase at all. It's more common sense than secrets.

So...the so called "5001 Handyman Secrets" book is going back to QVC as soon as I finish writing this review.... And that's a fact, not a secret!

"I've always wanted to get my hands on one of this guy's books and was happy to see a handyman-type book available so near Christmas, so I ordered two of them. My son-in-law isn't the handiest of men, but even he knows more than this book offers. It was rather silly, really, and I'm returning both books."

the bar handles are too narrow, you cant get a wide grip on the bar to do the exercises, when you push up you have to narrow your grip to put the bar in the handles which is kinda dangerous, so that's no good. Obviously you can do close grip bench presses since that would eliminate you from changing from a wide grip to a narrow grip to release the bar. But you can use the bench itself to lay back on while using dumbbells. there's no real decline on this bench. The Butterfly attachments , I dont even use. The Curl attachment is something i liked...but the leg lift exercises hurt or feel uncomfortable so that was a big let down. You have to position yourself almost in a half situp position to do them,,which is kinda good for an overall workout but it's a bit of a struggle. I think if it was 30 less it would be worth to buy for the curl attachment and the bench itself, but every thing else is kindof a fail. Get a proper bench. If i would have done this again i would have gone to a store first to see the product. The padding is comfortable, but it actually looks larger than it really is. Im 5'6 and i feel uncomfortable in this bench...almost as if i was too big for this thing.
