Expectations exceeded,
I remember buying this thing to take off a stripped auto bolt 3 years ago, and thinking that it would last about 5 minutes before being returned. And while it did fail to break free that first heavily seized and corroded 17 mm, many hundreds of bolts down the road I have to give it props for the jobs well done.
I use sockets a lot for aluminum framing and this has replaced a whole set in my bag. Very handy, and contractor grade quality, surprisingly enough. They weren’t lying about the torque specs. Works well around the house for eyebolts and typical homeowner uses too.

|Suprisingly (to me), this has turned out to be a great, handy tool,
I first bought a Gator Grip in desperation to remove a partially stripped bolt in a hard-to-reach area, and it worked like a charm. Since then, I have found myself using it frequently around the house, most recently to remove a plastic wing nut with broken wings, located where pliers could not reach.
Until I bought one, I thought it was a gimmicky gadget, but as somebody who spends most weekends doing home improvement, maintenance, and repairs, I can say that it has turned out to be a great purchase.
